This Privacy Policy explains how CTRSimpleApps ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Orbita mobile application ("Orbita", the "App"). Orbita provides Western astrology, Chinese astrology (BaZi), horoscope, love compatibility (synastry), and tarot features based on birth details you provide. By using Orbita, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
Orbita identifies your installation with a locally generated device identifier (deviceId) rather than a traditional username/password account. Together with this identifier, we collect basic device information to operate the App correctly, including: platform (Android/iOS), operating system name and version, device model, app version and build number, locale, country, timezone, screen density, dark-mode preference, and technical signals used for fraud/abuse prevention (such as whether the device appears to be an emulator or a rooted/jailbroken device).
To generate your personal readings, Orbita asks for your birth date, birth time, and birth place. This data is used to calculate your natal (birth) chart, daily horoscope, Chinese astrology (BaZi) profile, and — where you choose to use the synastry (love compatibility) feature — the birth details of a second person you enter for comparison purposes. Birth place lookups are processed through a third-party geocoding service (see Section 5).
Orbita offers an optional Pro subscription. Subscription state is managed through RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management platform. We store a RevenueCat App User ID together with your purchase/subscription status and history (e.g., active, expired, trial) to unlock the corresponding features in the App. We do not receive or store your full payment card details — payment is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play.
If you allow notifications, Orbita registers a push notification token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can deliver your daily horoscope, subscription-related alerts, and occasional re-engagement notifications. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
From the data above, Orbita calculates and stores derived astrological attributes (such as your sun sign) and keeps a lightweight reading history that records which reading variant was shown to you (for example, which horoscope or tarot spread version), so the App can avoid repeating the same content. This history does not duplicate your raw birth data beyond what is described in Section 2.2.
For users in Türkiye, we process personal data in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"). Our legal bases include your explicit consent (where required, e.g., for sensitive data such as birth details used for astrological profiling), performance of the app's core functionality that you request, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the App.
For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and other regions covered by the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), our legal bases include your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), performance of a contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)), such as securing the App and preventing fraud.

Orbita uses a first-party, device-based identifier for app access — it does not rely on an external third-party authentication provider.
Each third-party service processes data under its own privacy policy and terms; we encourage you to review those directly if you would like more detail on how each provider handles data.
We retain your data for as long as your Orbita account/installation remains active, so that your charts, readings, and subscription status remain available to you. Orbita does not currently offer an in-app self-service account deletion option. If you would like your data deleted, please email us at info.ctrsimpleapps@gmail.com and we will process your request.
If you are located in Türkiye, under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to, among others: learn whether your personal data is being processed; request information about such processing; learn the purpose of processing and whether your data is used accordingly; know the third parties to whom your data is transferred; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; and request deletion or destruction of your data within the framework of the relevant legislation.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction covered by the GDPR, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to certain processing, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Orbita is not directed at children under the age of 13, and users must be at least 13 years old to use the App. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at info.ctrsimpleapps@gmail.com so we can take appropriate action.
Because Orbita uses global service providers (including RevenueCat, Google/Firebase, and GeoNames), your data may be processed in countries other than your country of residence, including countries outside Türkiye or the European Economic Area. Where such transfers occur, we rely on the safeguards and mechanisms offered by these providers, including standard contractual clauses or equivalent measures, to protect your data consistent with this Policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App or legal requirements. We will update the "Effective date" above when we make changes. Continued use of Orbita after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
